I was born in La Plata, Buenos Aires. I started dance lessons at the age of six and at fifteen was admitted to the Instituto Superior de Arte, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. I danced with the Teatro Colón Company and in 1997, I began a twelve years contract with the National Mexican Ballet in Mexico City as a soloist and a member of the corps du ballet.
After finishing my career in 2009, I moved to Australia and now I bring my passion and art to the Far South Coast of NSW.
In 2019 I have finished my Professional Dance Postgraduate Teaching Diploma with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).
I also provide individual classes to students who are interested in pursuing a professional ballet career or those looking to study dance at a tertiary level.
Ballet for children & Adults
Ballet lessons are a wonderful way for both kids and adults to reap the health benefits of dance as well learn self-discipline and body control. Anyone can enjoy the beauty of ballet dancing, regardless of age, body size or fitness level. Classes are structured with obvious focus on developing the students understanding of ballet's basic positions as well as correct technique and body awareness. Every class, I try to impart the importance of musicality and expression to all my students. As students develop their technique, they will be able to work with choreography.
Adult ballet classes offer something for every age group, from young adults to seniors. If you have never danced before, a beginners class would be perfect for you. Beginner classes start off at the very first steps of ballet, so there is no reason to be intimidated. If you are a former dancer and want to return to ballet after several years, I will work with you to attain your desired goals in fitness and skill level.
